PREECEMAY tubular hardfacing electrodes are designed exclusively for highly abrasive applications. Operated under a lower current they provide less distortion, no burn through and higher deposition rates.  A high alloy yield is achieved, with a low heat input and no de-slagging between runs is required.

All three sizes - 6mm, 8mm, 11mm - can be used out of the same holder due to a standard stub end and tubular electrodes are resistant to moisture so therefore no special storage is needed.   With a wear performance of up to 10 times better than standard electrodes, our tubular hardfacing facing electrodes are the perfect partner for overlay plate and special steels. 
ABRALLOY flux cored wires are available in a range of sizes, with specifications to suit all applications.  Welding using wire is faster than using conventional stick electrodes due to the higher currents that can be used, therefore increasing productivity on site.

All our wires are open arc, which give greater deposition rates when welding in air rather than using a gas shield. ​Open arc welding does not require any separate flux and only a standard power source and wire feed unit are required.  All the deposits can only be machined by grinding.
